KRÖNA is a band from Santo Domingo formed by bassist Cristóbal Marte, who may be best known for his work in long-running punk band Espericles. KRÖNA adds a Caribbean flair to the sound of Marte's previous work, with a stronger reggae influence. Fans of Operation Ivy, Rancid, and Leatherface would enjoy it. The band's debut album Caribbean Winter was recorded with award-winning producer Benny Grotto; they will spend the coming spring and summer touring the U.S. to support it.
